Perhaps some of you remember that a friend of mine has a sister, who has a cat (or the cat has her, depending on the point of view). I used to post photos of her (the cat, not the sister) on Twitter and have occasionally posted them here.
She works at a hotel. (The sister, not the cat. The cat is on welfare.) A few days ago they were about to close it for the autumn/winter period (it's a summer hotel at a resort) and she was sitting at the lobby, finishing some paperwork.
A kitten entered through the front door, came to her and jumped in her lap.
Long story short, she has two cats now.
Anyway, meet Lola. She currently has diarrhea, so she's in isolation and on a special diet - but she will be free soon, according to the doctor.
The old cat hates the newcomer, BTW. The two of them are in the process of dividing the apartment and setting up boundaries, while the stupid hoomans are getting in the way.
