Absolutely nothing at all like advertising on free to air commercial TV. I still find it jarring and a bit unpleasant, I really abhor advertising, but for saving about a tenner a month I can live with it.

I do wonder if it makes a difference what content you watch. I watch mainly older stuff and perhaps more niche material.

It's easy enough to downgrade for a month and test it out?
