"Generational", Adam is spot on. I'm almost 60, I grew up with war vets. Dad was in Korea, camped below Mt Fuji before landing in S Korea. His older bro (Uncle Joe) was WW2. My older cousin (RIP) was Vietnam. Coworker was Marine during Beirut attack. All these guys weren't war mongers. All their stories, good and bad, taught us war is bad. Plus how blessed we are here in USA. Now an entire generation has never heard "war stories". Plus there is a "TV" in everyone's pocket today. No history.
