I'm pretty sure that is a weed. I have some that look similar to that in our yard. They like to pop up in places where you plant other things so it is hard to tell if they are good or not. Also weed is an objective term because many weeds have uses for food or medicine. I use an app called Picture this with a green icon and looks like a rose outline in the center. It works pretty good to identify most plants. I only use the free version. I just click the "x" when it asks you to do a free trial then go to the camera and take a picture of what you what to know.
