In the trial against Alexc Baldwin charging him in the death of cinemacgrapher Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie Rust, District Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer has just dismissed the case with prejudice based on a Brady violation (failure of the prosecution team to turn over evidence to the defense in advance of trial).
