Doing it well will be hard, and require that we rethink our relationship to energy and materials, but that's a *bonus*, not a *cost*. Changing how we use materials and energy will make all our lives better, it will improve the lives of the living things we share the planet with, and it will strip the monsters who currently control our energy supply of their political, economic, and *electric* power.
