I loved being snowed in! It meant I could actually go sliding on the road because it was impassible for vehicles. I lived on the side of a very long, steep hill. Nothing like tobogganing a mile and a half down the side of an Appalachian mountain. When I didn’t go sliding, I was cross country skiing or dogsledding. We used the dog team or the pony team to bring home our winter wood.
