Baldur's Gate 3 Has Freed Me From D&D a 🧵 - I am my group's forever GM, and have been for over 5 years at this point. Over the past year or so, I've been pushing to play games other than D&D 5e as a way to explore better story telling avenues for what I was interested in. The struggle to get players interested and invested in a new system is very real, and while I had some moderate success, nothing stuck as well as the long form D&D campaign that drew us all together. 1/?
