This legislation is a classic case of corporate Dems meeting Republicans "half way" by just giving away the store. It achieves nothing for the left. It's a surrender with no benefit. "proving" that Republicans "don't really want to solve the problem at the border" is like "proving" the Republicans don't really want to "deal with" the nonexistent Crime Wave. No one will vote Democrat who was thinking of voting Republican because of this. Don't kid yourself.
