Kinda, yeah, electrolytes and sugar - as with most fruit! If I get a meh watermelon I freeze for blending with a light touch of salt. Electrolyte drinks are a long tradition too! Salted preserved plum lemonade is common in China, Persian cooking has doogh (salty yogurt often with mint), or in cold but dry weather, Kashmiri noon chai (salt tea with milk - eyepoppingly pink.) Technically even hot chocolate (it’s more all-weather with cayenne and true cinnamon, though.)
