Tomáš Janoušek (npub1wnv…0wvq) in short, the data model is just inadequate? consider my use case of regular monthly recurring bills i want to track as paid or not paid, my options are an actual recurring event, that's cool but now you can't attach much specific information to the individual events (like, paid/not paid) so you end up just creating individual ones which needs a meta-tool to manage?

also i think distinction between events, journals and todo is making the apps also strongly distinguish between them in the UI, again, real world example, i track when i was working from home and the office as all-day event because journal is not even synced/implemented in most apps, but it's not what i really want?

(now i am not sure this is literally impossible with the spec, but it doesn't seem to be how things are implemented)
