If you remember the hugely popular Apple-centric tech news blog TUAW (The Unoffical Apple Weblog), you may have been surprised to see it resume posting recently, some 10 years after it was closed down and absorbed into Engadget.

However, [@film_girl](https://mastodon.social/@film_girl ), who used to write for the site, has flagged that it has been posting AI-generated articles under her byline, as well as the bylines of dozens of others of ex-writers — complete with AI-generated photos and AI rewrites of their old articles.
