The data available shows more than 10 different solution to privacy/fee problem that are being developed by different people, instead of only one team just like XMR. Rootstock, BitVM, Ark, Drivechains, etc etc.
BTW if you don't know, scaling though second layers are also on XMR's roadmap, lol. DYOR.
