I have been battling with Social Security for disability for over 7 years for mental illness. I've written my Senator and Congressmen. My amazing psychiatrist wrote a 2 page letter on my behalf. I use to pull back to back 16 hour shifts in one of the business hospitals in NYC. If I could work, I would work. I love this country despite its faults but tonight it just feels like its failed me. I feel defeated.
