It's found by running for 1 hour at a pace you think is your aerobic threshold, usually defined as the top of zone 2.
Calculate the ratio of your pace to HR for the first 30 min. Call this "A".
Calculate the ratio of your pace to HR for the last 30 min. Call this "B".
Find R = (A-B)/A.
If:
- 0<R<=3%, you can go harder
- 3%<R<=5%, this is Z2
- R>5%, you went too hard
