I have seen speculation as to whether Aaron Bushnell might have been transfeminine because of him using a feminine name on a social media account.

While I'd be proud to know that Aaron might have been like me, I fear that in a world as hateful as this one, it will be used as a means to tarnish his image and to dismiss him as emotionally unstable, misrepresenting his sacrifice as an act of mental illness.

The irony is, the bigotry & hatred of this world makes the genocide he protested possible.
