I thought pulling it out would be a giant pain in the ass (and it probably will be), but it doesn't seem as complicated as I thought it'd be. I figured it'd require specialized equipment to pull it out, but I've seen some McGuyver stuff that leads me to believe I could do it.

I know what you're talking about re: the pitless adapter, but mine must be WAAAAY down there. I see cobwebs ~6ft down that obstruct my vision, so I presume it's somewhere below that. :/
