The hood on my coat has now proved more useful for keeping falling ash out of my eyes than it has been for keeping rain off of my head.
Because it has rained ashes for longer than it has rained real rain this winter in the Los Angeles area, and I don't have any sunglasses to keep ashes from getting blown in my eyes ATM.
Also just lost 5G data and using Union Station WiFi
