I don't think it's an either/or. We need to stop pumping more carbon into the atmosphere, for sure. But the more carbon we can pull out of it, the less severe the consequences of past emissions will be. If sequester carbon by restoring wild ecosystems, creating habitat, etc, instead of risky, expensive geo-engineering, so much the better.
