I find it very telling how many people are suddenly way more ok with apple intelligence than with ms's ai attempts.

Some of this is logical - apple has clearly done more effort to not look stupid - but none of what apple has done has moved the goalposts.

There's still no real use case for this technology.
Nobody on this planet requires gen ai emojis to survive.
AI recaps don't meet human needs.
We don't need our overpowered devices to offload compute any more today than last year.
