Although you are absolutly correct that trans, gay, minorities of all types, etc are at risk in the USA, their risk is nothing compared to the risk of starvation and mass killing in Gaza. And I really don't see much effort by the powers that be to improve the lot of minorities of all types in America. I honestly doubt the threats they face will be significantly different no matter who wins in November. I agree to acting locally, but think globally.
