We don't have much issue with what they did beyond the sketchy launch of their token instead of using an existing cryptocurrency. Whether their ICO launch was ethical or legal doesn't have anything to do with the privacy and security offered by different browser options.
That revenue system is certainly more ethical and reasonable than than the pay-for-play Acceptable Ads system created and pushed by Eyeo.
