as the rest of entertainment culture shrinks and struggles, people cling to what is left and still trying to be creative or at least appealing…but even THOSE things are becoming/have become sanitized and condensed. Almost like the control is purposeful… We’re already at the point when 90% of cute anime girl fanart seemingly comes from ONE game…that I don’t even think is a proper “game”
