FOSS empire-building strategy game "Freeciv" has been updated to version 3.0.8. This update offers several fixes to AI; memory leaks and other bugs. It also tweaked certain unit rules and added translations. The game code is licensed with GPLv2.0. The game is made using SDL. It can be downloaded from various distro repos; the AUR; and as a Flatpak.
