I think I’m just sort of missing the days when I was excited about new products. The Humane Pin, the Vision Pro… the next big thing just seems so underwhelming to me in a way that Gmail, the iPhone, the Wii did not. Either the early 2000s were just an incredible time for new products or I was just less jaded overall.
