Well, about the other green app, I can't say much. I don't know how to convince others not to use that app. So far, I am trying to safeguard myself from it, limiting to use it only on my work phone and only for work purposes.
Better to lose so many connections than use it for other purposes than work. That's the price I am paying and do not regret for.
Anyway, Fediverse has filled the void since then. I don't have to post to feel alive here, instead looking at others' posts (or toots in Mastodon) makes me feel alive.
