The more I read about Obsidian the more I feel I should drop Joplin for it. After Evernote became 💩 I switched to Joplin and I still don’t really like it. It does the basic but it’s just not brilliant UI.
Obsidian seems awesome and I read the manifesto but I developed a systematic distrust of proprietary software, even at the center of a great open source plugin community. All I can think of is: of course one day they will be tired and sell off. I may be wrong.
