This is insane. Imagine being arrested & having a valid identification, such as your birth certificate, yet still be detained in jail by a 48-hour hold orders from ICE despite having proof of citizenship (!!!!)
If this doesn’t make you pissed off… imagine this was your son, daughter, niece, nephew, father, mother, aunt, uncle, grandmother, or grandfather BEING HELD AGAINST THEIR WILL with possibility of being deported to El Salvador under inhumane conditions (their policies differ from the US) DESPITE HAVING VALID PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP!
