Finally got my chance to watch. Not an easy win, but took what Villa offered — mainly opportunities to counter from corners — and made them suffer for it. Villa refused to adjust their positioning to at least delay the pace of the counter, which I just don’t understand.

LFC should have had two breakaway goals and Villa could have been playing a man down for DOGSO. That they continued to play this way was madness! Maybe that’s what their set-piece coach was yelling about. 🤣
