Reading through the comments on OP'S post, just kinda realize that Mastodon as a collective is constantly undergoing nonstop liberal ideology purity spiral and cultural revolution. It has to be absolute hell "living" over there on that side of Fedi. Hyper political, hyper ideology, essentially fanatical. Liberal ideology borders on theological zealotism at these levels.
