not to mention that in Spain (in some mental facilities) they still prescript and give electroshock therapy, and they still tie you to bed and forcefully inject psych-drugs on you when doctors/nurses/auxiliary staff think "you're dangerous for yourself and others" (they used to threaten me with that if i didn't stayed still in my bed and tried to sleep, also they once did it bc I started scratching my arms bc i was extremely anxious while they were taking me to see the same psychiatrist that suggested i might have HPD (which is basically calling you a whore) while I was 15 y/o).
