Other aspects remain (pursuit of power and prestige through followers, ego), but this is an important distinction, regardless. Tip 'o the hat to all the Fedi admins out there.
I am guilty of my Fedi feed affecting my mental health. Old habits... an addiction I picked up from the old monetized platforms that I'm not on anymore. Life was better when I just wrote web articles blind.
