I use a phone app with adatabase of all your cameras and lenses. The lenses are associated with cameras that can use them. For each film you set film used, ISO, camera… For each frame you select the lens from a drop down (you only see the lenses associated with the camera). The setting is sticky so you only need to change it when you change lens. You can also record aperture, shutter speed, gps, notes… Then write everything as EXIF to the scanned images.
Easier and more reliable.
