Who has time for that? If truly needed the meds, you die before getting through it all. I do my best to say out of the Dr Office. So far I’m in about once every 4-5 years. Recently went in for a checkup and they had dropped me as a patient because I had not been there in so long. So rather than one visit, I had to do two. First visit was deemed an “initial visit” so I couldn’t get the tests done that I set the appointment up for. Unfortunately the medical profession is being run by the health insurance profession now. Doctors can’t do what they want to due unless the health insurance executives and big hospital executives tell them they can. I’m sure you’ve seen this first hand and don’t say this to disparage doctors.
Health insurance is the biggest ripoff there is in the USA these days. It’s truly a “can’t live it, can’t live without it “ type of thing. I pay over 2 grand a month for family health insurance that hardly ever gets used. I’m probably in the best shape of anyone at my business but have the highest premium. Complete ripoff, but if some tragic accident occurred, I couldn’t afford not to have it.
