Personal musing: pretty much the only kind of intelligence I have is verbal, i.e. in terms of texts. Yet I absolutely hate the postmodern idea that everything is a text, or rather that texts only refer to texts.
Maybe because I know that my own text-based understanding is missing 80% of what's going on, and that texts are only valid because they try to plug into that greater existence.
