As July arrives and advances, bringing hot, sultry, summer weather with it, I find the sound of the river, the rushing of the stream, to be alluring.

Even on the hottest afternoon the water is cool, and the mere swishing of my hands through it seems to bring the temperature down a few degrees.

Water, especially in the summer, is a resource most appreciated!
