Donald Trump called the Yemeni interim government "barbarians".
White supremacy has a long story, and it can be traced to the Ancient Greeks, all the way to Aristotle and his ideas that some men should be nothing but tools for other men (the slaves). They started the idea that only them were "cultured", and invented the derogatory term "barbarian" to call all non-Greeks. The barbarians then could be murdered or enslaved. A trope that lives to this day.
