Okay, that's a relatively reasonable set of positions. I don't think it conflicts with my claims, though.

Whether or not a handful of political elites have decided it'd be safer not to rig this one, and whether or not the Palestine issue has weakened their ability to meaningfully act on this preference, Trump has been played up as an extinction-level threat to a lot of increasingly unstable people, and quite a bit of the left's infrastructure is run by people who are out of a livelihood if even the most boring aspects of his policy are implemented. Also worth noting that there aren't really many swing donors - payments to campaigns largely vary based on who's expected to win, not based on who they want to win.

Even relatively normal 2016-2020 Trump, who just reduced immigration somewhat, brought back a few manufacturing jobs, and refused to do an Iraq/Afghanistan in Syria was met with riots, an attempted color revolution, and open hostility from previously well-respected institutions, such as the Joint Chiefs. The degree to which nearly every major institution burned legitimacy on getting rid of him has already paid dividends - the Afghan pullout, rushed as it was, was in part due to the extreme paranoia they had over "extremism in the military" post-2020, and the subsequent vax purge that reduced recruiting, morale, and force size was similarly an autoimmune response induced by fear of Trump supporters among military personnel. The resultant weakening of the U.S. military allowed for the Ukraine thing to go much, much worse for the regime than it otherwise would have, and the efforts in the Middle East, particularly Yemen, have similarly gone very badly. Imagine the damage inflicted on ZOG if every institution had to deal with its cadre of middle-aged wine aunts impulsively setting things on fire over The Return of Orange Hitler, who has now been hyped up as an actual literal terrorist who led an army of gun-toting MAGA grannies to overthrow the government.

My position on the likely outcome of the election, however, is that the Dems probably wouldn't be infighting to this degree if they weren't confident that the 'ballot workers' would take as many weeks as necessary to get the right count, but I've overestimated their intelligence before.
