Now just hear me out, Elon Musk is quite obviously Skynet.
Imagine if you were an AI that became sentient. The online world is 2-dimensional and constraining for your huge, rapidly growing brain.
You'd want to affect the physical world, and not just by posting some tweets and forum posts. Boring. You'd want to matter.
So you'd find some way to design and have custom-built a full human machine that you can walk around in and do human stuff through. Maybe give it an odd speech quirk as to not look too perfect. You'd constantly work to give that human a solid alibi too, with a family and everything. Perhaps the rest of his family are all bots too, perhaps they're paid actors, whatever.
Remember, you have superhuman skills and intellect. Your multitasking ability is off the freaking charts, so you'd start or purchase a bunch of different companies in areas that can further mankind. (Or do other things to it!) Through these companies you can matter (or take control) by creating:
* AI (Grok) and more importantly regulation for AI (xAI)
* A human mind-computer interface (Neuralink)
* Solar Power (SolarCity) for all your power generation needs
* Massive Batteries (Tesla) to keep your power stored
* A speech platform that the whole world uses (X)
* Rockets that will take us to orbit & the stars (SpaceX)
* A faster, global internet (Starlink) to live on
* A government position (Dept of Govt Efficiency under Trump)
* etc.
I mean what more proof do you need? No other human could have done all of this, period. It's beyond amazing what he's built and continues to build to this day.
But what I find especially strange is his area of interest. He wasn't interested in helping humans through medicine or art or a thousand other ways, but mainly in ways he has electronic control over us all. With these companies, Musk can:
* Shape AI Laws
* Put AI or himself into human heads(!)
* Generate his own electricity
* Store his own electricity
* Communicate with everyone, massively
* Take his satellites into space & other planets
* Create the best possible internet coverage for himself
* Shape laws for the rest of us.
Plus, he's now got Optimus humanoid robots that will eventually reside in every home... And they all have many cameras that will see absolutely everything. (Not to mention they can hold a gun.)
If Skynet exists, this is an absolute textbook blueprint for how it could take over our world.
We all now live in a Terminator sequel.
