That's what I'm doing now. I use Wallet of Satoshi for small amounts and they never have issues. I like their wallet.

But I don't want to do this forever. I want to self custody my own or else we are giving power to others to hold our money and eventually corruption will happen.

Lightning is still early and has issues but overall my goal is to custody my own money forever and I believe developers will eventually make it easier for everyone to self custody even small business.
