For anyone that thought we'd avoid a recession, I suspect food prices are gonna bump up again:
> Please note:
As of August 2024, the feed industry is seeing cost escalation of Vitamins A, D and E following an explosion at a BASF plant in Germany.
The facility manufactures the majority of all US imported Vitamins A, and E as well as a precursor for Vitamin D3.
This vitamin crisis is going to challenge the livestock and feed industries over the next several months.
While the prices of our products have gone up, it is important to remember that the amount per day is only in mere pennies.
Our products tend to be more concentrated so we can give you a better value, thus a lower feeding rate and you can take advantage of your high-quality forage.
Due to the higher concentration of our products our prices tend to go up faster than other products less concentrated on the market.
We are hopeful that by the second quarter of 2025 production will get back to a more normal level and prices will follow.
