I guess the one place where I'll argue Apple's computing philosophy doesn't really make sense is in workstation scenarios, those where you actively want or need control over your computer, so you can operate it more than use it.
macOS (and, for that matter, all Apple OSes) have a philosophy of orienting/restricting you towards a very simple way of doing things. Isn't that its mission statement?
