You know, I always *say* Libreboot offers fast boot speeds, but here's a video showing it.
It's booting to GNU GRUB, which is part of Libreboot. Libreboot provides a heavily modified GRUB as a coreboot payload. it auto-scans for grub.cfg on your SSD/HDD on many different types of partition, including LUKS, btrfs subvols and EFI System Partition (it's booting Debian from EFI directory, in the video).
Linux doesn't need BIOS/UEFI. In Libreboot, Linux can boot directly, and run on bare metal.
