The quirks and tics and physical disfigurements cis people think distinguish trans people are just due to not having access to timely care and social support, resulting trauma and often unhealthy coping mechanisms. Trans girls are just girls like any other. Unfortunately, we're girls who were often isolated, bullied, beat up, and made to feel invalid and unwanted to the point we carry that feeling of shame and self-loathing our entire lives.
