Kevin's Bacon on Nostr: Does anyone else alternate between joy at the level of skills and maturity they have ...
Does anyone else alternate between joy at the level of skills and maturity they have reached and despair at the lack of opportunity available to them on the market, or more precisely, lack of understanding of how to access what opportunities are there that they don't see? Because that's what I've got going on. I know it is my responsibility to find a job, even though I do not have the capability yet to find and achieve a position that offers rewards worth the sacrifice. Everything I apply to falls flat, and I find myself entirely unable to understand what I need to position myself ahead, and also unable to determine what the most economical job opportunity is, as I have so many interests and every choice effects my options into the future. With the incredible scarcity of my time and available jobs, I feel immense pressure to get this right. So I take my time discerning what options are best, and apply only to those. Casting a wide met and getting a shit job, I've been there and done that and gotten that experience, and I find investing all of what little resources I have into personal growth and independent study to be a better course of action than that. Is this wrong??
