I don’t agree with this framing. The ones who survive are calm in a crisis, not panicked. Fear leads to emotional behavior. Awareness leads to effective action.
The experts were the most wrong of all. Those who did their own research and assessed as best they could based on what they saw with their own eyes and deduced from first principles avoided the worst of it — we got out in nature, avoided the mRNA shot, refused to live in fear of something that just wasn’t that dangerous.
Too many people listened and kowtowed to the fearful and those exploiting that fear.
And this phenomenon is not restricted to covid or overhyped pandemics. It’s all the fear-mongering from every direction.
