npub1yhj4ua6580h3w0kucwwrtwl4uv9pg7m2drxzplq5x3364jczp36s4h3h3t (npub1yhj…3h3t) that’s why i think the admins should clearly communicate the intent. because there are good reasons to defederate. people need safe spaces and tight nit communities. but then you should also be aware that you are an exclusive club with hurdles for people who want to enter. there is nothing wrong with that, but i feel like they often want to present themselves as open and inviting.
tl;dr: just think about why you are doing something and what the consequences are.
