If I had one wish for tech, it would be for it to finally grow out of the cycle of faddism. We don't need to be constantly innovating at all times. We don't need a tech revolution every six weeks, we need bug fixes and security updates and no UI changes within a single major version number's lifespan.
What we especially don't need is for there to be one special place where all the tech happens and every tech company has to be there.
