Wowwww this makes so much sense.
This video explains how ADHD brains when not in creativity mode (hyperfocusing on something we're good at) actually default in downtime to vicious rumination (which actually burns more energy).
To get out of it, switch modes by having a meaningful conversation with a friend, diving into a project, having a strong sensory experience (loud music, intense exercise, etc).
I take this to mean being creative/chasing passions = medicine
