It's what I did here when moving from AWS S3 to CloudFlare R2 and I'm setting it up again to do a similar migration on another site. I haven't written it up properly yet but enough googling will get you there if you just try the new, then fallback to the old storage.
I'm not sure on MiniIO and if it would do what you want, I've only ever used it for actually storing the objects I want.
